Stanford Materials Corporation (SMC) provides Cerium Hexaboride Sheet CeB6 ceramic products with high purity and competitive prices. Our CeB6 parts support an array of shapes and dimensions to serve multiple purposes.
Cerium Hexaboride (CeB6, also known as Cerium boride) is an inorganic chemical. It is a refractory ceramic material, which is insoluble in water or hydrochloric acid and very stable in a vacuum. Stoichiometric samples of CeB6 have a blue metallic luster. CeB6 is also a superconductor and semiconductor with a relatively high melting point of 2552 ℃.
